Poetry Session with Veronika Dintinjana, Brane Mozetič, and Gregor Podlogar

Join us for an evening of poetry featuring three distinguished Slovenian poets: Veronika Dintinjana, Brane Mozetič, and Gregor Podlogar.

Veronika Dintinjana, a multifaceted artist born in 1977, is not only a poet but also a translator and general surgeon. Her thought-provoking poems can be found in prominent European anthologies such as “poems – the Versopolis anthology” and “Grand tour – an anthology of European verse”. With a keen focus on themes like love, loss, and female experiences in a patriarchal society, Veronika’s poetry captivates audiences with its exploration of identity and human relationships.

Brane Mozetič, born in 1958, is a distinguished poet, writer, and translator known for his emotionally charged homoerotic poetry. With over 80 translated works, Brane is recognized as one of the most translated contemporary Slovenian authors, celebrated for his ability to connect with readers on a personal level and his vivid celebration of the natural world.

Gregor Podlogar, a philosophy graduate from the University of Ljubljana, brings a unique blend of introspection and politically charged insights to his poetry. His exploration of themes like love, loss, and contemporary societal complexities has earned him acclaim both at home and abroad, with his work featured in various anthologies worldwide.
