About the Contributors

The author, when she was a kid, was very interested in making up stories. Now, as an adult, that is pretty much all she does. She lives in Mumbai.

The illustrator graduated in Fine Arts from Shantiniketan, where she now lives. Her nuanced sense of form and colour evoke many emotions. She has illustrated several stories. Some of her illustrations feature in books such as Ismat's Eid, In Bon Bibi's Forest and The Snow King's Daughter.
