About the Contributors
The author has authored over fifty books. His stories for children have been published around the world and in languages as diverse as French, Farsi and Vietnamese. He lives in Australia and has presented hundreds of sessions on books, writing and imagination to schoolchildren.
The illustrator spent most of her childhood between covers of picture books. When she grew up, she studied art, drew, painted, sculpted and did printmaking. She also loves to write her own stories. Her evocative pictures can be seen in The Illustrated Premchand by David Rubin and more recently, in Ken Spillman’s The Circle and The Great Storyteller. She lives and works in Shantiniketan.
