About the Contributors

The author is an educator and writer living in Assam. She dreamt of becoming a scientist but decided that she liked teaching, writing and talking about science even more than pipettes and test tubes. She also keeps busy wrestling with her little son, and finding ways to answer innumerable ‘But why, Amma?’ questions.

The illustrator is a Japanese comic book writer and illustrator who shuttles between India and Japan. He studied visual design from Japan and painting at M.S. University of Baroda, Gujarat. He moved to Delhi to work on a research project to visually document traditional forms of storytelling in India.
