About the Editor
Teacher, journalist, editor … Rosalind Wilson was all this and more. A student at the Oxford University, her strong bond with her Indian friends propelled her to visit India.And once here, she stayed on, fascinated. She taught at St Thomas School and Springdales, both in Delhi. Later she switched xareers to try her hand at journalism by editing the Press Institute of India’s Magazine Vidura.
Her heart however was with children and when Target was launched she became it’s editor and later it’s full-time editor. Nurturing it with love and care she made it India’s best-loved magazine for children.
She lost a brave battle against cancer in 1992.
