About the Author
Jessica Faleiro is a Goan-born Third Culture Kid who was educated in Kuwait, Miami, Bombay and England. She has published a novel titled Afterlife: Ghost stories from Goa (Rupa, 2012). Her writing has been published in various journals, anthologies and magazines including Asia Literary Review, Forbes, Mascara Literary Review, IndiaCurrents, Muse India, Indian Quarterly, Coldnoon and the Times of India. She co-edited a special issue on writing from the Goan diaspora for the Joao Roque Literary Journal’s March 2018 issue. She also won the Joao Roque Literary Journal Award for ‘Best in Fiction 2017’.
