A group of four English boys embark on a whimsical journey in the tea plantations of the Nilgiris in South India. This novel is inspired by Kenneth Grahame’s renowned work ‘The Wind in the Willows,’ transforming the animal protagonists into human characters reflecting English nobility. Set in a contemporary world vastly different from the past, the narrative evokes a strong sense of nostalgia for the British Raj and traditional English values, particularly amidst the backdrop of Brexit. Described as an exploration of Occidentalism, offering an Indian perspective on English culture, this tale is presented as a delightful adventure with a touch of sophistication.
