About the Contributors
Mazhar Ahmad teaches literature in a Delhi University college. He loves Urdu and writes stories, articles and newspaper columns in this language. Mazhar Ahmad wrote this story in a writers’ workshop organised by the Delhi Urdu Academy and Pratham Books jointly.
Ayesha Sadr and Ishaan Dasgupta, a textile designer and a graphic designer respectively, found a common love for illustration and created 211 studio in 2009. The New Delhi-based designers have worked on a wide variety of illustration projects, ranging from children's books, food packaging, wedding cards to restaurant murals. When not working or spending time with their two cats, they love travelling and cooking.
