About the Contributors

Fleur D'Souza always wanted to be a teacher (secretly, she dreamed of being a stage actress and wished she could sing). And a teacher she was for nearly 40 years—first at St Xavier's High School, Mumbai, and then in the Department of History at St Xavier's College, from where she retired in 2016.

Kripa is an illustrator based in Mumbai. After completing the fine art course from Sir JJ School of Art, she took up teaching art and design. Collecting and illustrating children's picture books has been her passion. Kripa loves walking, travelling in local trains and buses, and observing and documenting the city.
