About the Contributors
After a stint with Northern India Patrika, The Pioneer, and National Herald as a cartoonist/illustrator in Lucknow, Jayanto moved to Delhi in the early eighties. After job hopping from various advertising agencies and news magazines and papers in Delhi and Mumbai, Jayanto, along with his brother Neelabh, started Gardhab Das -- a 2-page comic for the popular children's magazine, Target, in 1986. Now he is retired from his last posting at Hindustan Times where he did political cartoons for about 15 years.
