About the Contributors

The author is a writer par excellence from Italy, author of evocative fables such as Ka and the Ruin of Kasch. His book The Marriage of Cadmus and Harmony won France's Prix Vellon and the Prix du Meilleur Livre Etranger.

Tim Parks, best known as writer and translator has written ten novels and three non-fiction accounts. His many translations from the Italian include works by Moravia, Tabucchi, Calvino and Calasso. He lectures on literary translation in Milan.
