About the Contributors

Shahid Anwar was an author, playwright and a translator who wrote both in Urdu and Hindi. Known for his powerful but simple style, his plays have been performed across the country. His successful plays include gair Zaroori log, Soopna Ka Sapna and Hamara Waqt Mein. Shahid received many accolades for his outstanding work in the field of Urdu drama including the Mohan Rakesh Samman and Delhi Urdu Academy's Urdu Drama Award.

Born in a farmer family in the Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh, Nilesh had a keen interest in drawing since his childhood. He has a master's degree in fine arts and got to hone his skills further at Riyaaz Academy. He has illustrated for children's magazines like Chakmak and Phirki. This is his first book for Pratham Books.
