About the Contributors

The authors are friends who work together. They develop educational material for the Avehi-Abacus project and other organisations. They share a love for books.

The illustrator is also an independent film-maker. She is currently associated with the Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay. She taught for many years at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. She has written and illustrated several books which have won wide acclaim such as Mukand and Riyaz, My Mother's Sari and My Gandhi Story.
