About the Contributors

Kamla Bhasin is a feminist and development activist, closely linked to the women’s movement. She has worked on issues related to sustainable development, gender equality, human rights, peace and justice. She has written for adults and children on subjects close to her heart. She lives in New Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan with her son Jeet Kamal.

Tanvi Bhat is a freelance illustrator who lives in Mumbai and loves the rains. She's a self-taught artist who loves to draw for childrens books. She works with water colours and gouache and gets her inspiration from things she sees when out exploring the streets of colourful India.
