About the Contributors

eshma Ansari Sapre was born in India, and grew up in Jersey City, where she got her start working with children as a social worker. She currently lives and writes in New York City, where she often finds herself chasing off a cast of characters like defiant pirates, witty little princesses, and of course, dancing raindrops. She is the author of six works for children.

Jessica Lian was born in Beijing, China, and she graduated from Barnard College with a degree in Art History and Visual Arts. She now resides in New York City.
