A series of sensually observed and quietly moving scenes, this is a collection that finds the poet feeling for their place in the world. At times gentle, at times startling, these are poems of interaction and empathy that deepen our connection to nature and to one another.
~ Paul Chambers, Editor, Wales Haiku Journal

K. Ramesh’s new book takes me to places I’ve never been and, through the wise selection and utilization of physical details, makes it a familiar place.
~ John Stevenson, Managing Editor, The Heron’s Nest

In this startlingly fresh book of haiku, K. Ramesh treads sensitively and attentively through all his surroundings, whether they be his house, a hotel, or the great outdoors. Every living being is equally worthy of the poet’s eye such that the newborn calf, the diligent ant, a lone heron, his dear mother, and the hardworking street cleaner stir the reader’s interest and affection. Between daybreak and moonlight, we quietly find ourselves at home in the world in much the same way that K. Ramesh appears to be, and one’s soul delights in unity with the Whole.
~ Robert Epstein, psychotherapist and editor of All the Way Home: Aging in Haiku.
