Born in Battenberg in 1962, children's book author Andreas Steinhöfel lives and works in Berlin as a translator, screenplay writer for radio and TV. Some of his popular books include Paul Vier und die Schröders and Die Mitte der Welt.
Born in 1961 in Berlin, Anja Tuckermann lives and works as a fulltime writer in that city. Anja writes mainly for young adults, and is also actively involved in theatre, and has written lyrics for musical pieces.
