About the Author

Eventually, he started photo documenting butterflies and forest birds in the forests of Goa & North Karnataka, providing valuable data for the management plan of Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary to the Goa Forest Department.

The journey continued with the initiation of work on the book 'Forest Birds of Goa' in 2009. Recognition followed as he was selected as a Honorary Wildlife Warden in 2013 by the Government of Goa. As a founding member of the Goa Bird Conservation Network, his commitment to wildlife conservation is evident.
