About the Author
Gable D'Souza--based in the city known as Mumbai, Bombay, Bomoi or Bombaim--is a Konkani writer, stage actor, lyricist and singer. He is also the author of prayer booklets Santa Maria and Devache Maie. D'Souza is a toastmaster, eulogist, and speaker at Konkani workshops. He has done much to promote the Konkani language and conducts Konkani lessons in Obhimani Konkankar series and is a Maharashtra Konkani Kala Sanstha (MKKS) committee member. D'Souza won the Upcoming Lyricist and the Novo Borovpi awards of the Goan Review Art Foundation, and the 125th Tiatr Anniversary MKKS Lifetime and Viva Victories 2019 awards. Art Director Prem Kumar bestowed on him the name of 'Gable'.
