About the Author
Dr. Celsa Pinto is one of post-liberation Goa's most prolific historians and researchers of history. She served as Director of Education, Government of Goa. She has written books on the Goa- and Lisbon-based commerce in the Indian Ocean region, to Goa-Brazil trade interactions, and on the 1787 revolt in Goa.
