About the Contributors

Bharati Jagannathan teaches history to undergraduates in a Delhi University college. She is deeply interested in trees, birds and wildlife. Her stories, The Timid Train and Samira’s Awful Lunch and One Day in August have been quite popular among children.

Prashant Soni lives in Udaipur, Rajasthan and has been illustrating for the past few years. He enjoys nature and loves to visit historical places. This is his first book with Room to Read and he would like to dedicate it to his parents.
