Throughout his long life (1909-2000) the author has collected references of writings by Goan authors in a long and patient labour of erudition. His “Dicionário da Literatura Goesa” (Instituto Cultural de Macau – Fundação Oriente) is a fundamental work for anyone wishing to get acquainted with the culture and history of Goa and one of the founding stones of Goan memory.
