About the Author
The author is currently Associate Professor, Centre for Historical Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. Earlier, he was Reader in History at Goa University (2000-3) and Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit at Kalady, Kerala (2003-6). Dr Malekandathil has published numerous papers in national and international journals.
