This book attepts to establish the profound relationship between two cultures, the French culture and the Indian culture. Th

When the author was doing her Masters in French, it offered her hours of enjoyable learning with Manoharrai Sardessai, the French professor and the poet. Needless to say that the poet outweighed the professor in him and his mind would escape swiftly from the academic environment into picturesque landscapes created by the poet’s reverie.

Texts in Konkani constitute a major part of his works and reflect his thoughts, his humour and his Philosophy, very often expressed in short poetry, easy to remember and accessible to everyone. Indeed, the uniqueness of his work is based on the convergence of the two cultures.
