About the Author
P G Joshi has published articles in several highly respected journals in India. His doctoral thesis was on the novels of the Indian feminist writer Shashi Deshpande. He has collaborated with R Raj Rao, who was his research supervisor, on various translation projects. He heads the department of English at a postgraduate college in the state of Maharashtra, India, affiliated to the University of Pune.
