About the Contributors
Kavitha Mandana is the author of eight books for children published by Puffin (Penguin), Karadi Tales, Pratham and Red Turtle (Rupa). Her short fiction has appeared in various anthologies as well as in school English textbooks. She’s been writing and illustrating for the Deccan Herald’s kids’ supplement for the past twenty years.
Nirzara Verulkar is an artist, animator and storyteller. She writes stories for children and young adults. Her virtual studio Drawing Chime Illustration has created six children’s books so far. Two of her books have been selected for Asian Festival for Children’s Content. Nirzara is also a yoga teacher and aspires to meld illustration with yoga.
