About the Author

The author is a wildlife conservationist and photographer with a passion for elephants. He is the Founder and Executive Director of the Wildlife Trust of India (WTI), an Advisor to the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) and its Regional Director (South Asia). He is the author of nine bestselling books on Indian wildlife, including Indian Mammals.
