About the Contributors
Born in a small village of Alipur Khera in Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh, Mahipal worked as a typist in the Tehsil court premises. He had an inclination towards literature right from the beginning. After joining the Hindi department of the American Embassy in 1985, he began writing and translating. He has a PG diploma in translation from IGNOU.
Manisha Chaudhry is an author, editor and translator.  When she needs to rejuvenate, she rushes off to the mountains to trek and to catch up with Urdu poetry.
Kanika Nair has always had a passion for illustration. After receiving a bachelors degree in communication design from Pearl Academy of Fashion, she began working as a freelance illustrator, writer and designer of childrens books. Nair has worked on childrens book projects with Karadi Tales, Bharat Gyan Vigyan Samiti (BGVS) and Pratham Books. She loves to incorporate various insights about children that she has collected over the years into her illustrations.
